Dr. Denise Sackett received her Bachelor's Degree from Vanderbilt University and her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a Family Practice Residency at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and she is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Sackett is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at A.T. Still School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona where she teaches medical students clinical didactics, facilitates in medical skills, leads small group discussions and is Co-Course Director of the family medicine clerkship. Her article, "Fat-Shaming in Medicine: Overview of Alternative Patient Strategies" was published in July 2019.
Dr. Sackett has received additional training in aesthetic medicine including certification in Parisian Peel and completion of the Aesthetics Workshop from the National Procedures Institute. Patients, students and family are her passions.
